Because of your generous donations, we were able to increase our assistance for rent by $10,323 or 65%. Our Vincentians assisted 160 more people during home visits over 2023. Our in-kind goods increased by 34% to $62,658. We strive to be good stewards of your donations. Our Vincentians work with your neighbors to help prevent evictions and keep utilities from being disconnected. Our mission is not just to provide food or pay bills, but to be Christ to those we serve as they are Christ for us. Thank You St. Thomas Parish for your prayers and financial support.
Our mission is not just to provide food or money, but to be Christ to those we serve as they are Christ for us. As our primary objective, the local St. Thomas Conference provides its members opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and service to our neighbors in need. Thank you to the parishioners of St. Thomas for all the support you provide to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Many parishes struggle to provide enough funds to meet the needs of their neighbors.
There is always a need for volunteers in our St. Vincent de Paul Society. We could use volunteers for making home visits, working in the SVDP Stores, talking on the phone with our neighbors to determine their specific needs etc. Please continue to pray for our St. Thomas Vincentians and your neighbors who we visit. May God bless you and our St. Thomas Parish.
If you'd like to join us in visiting and ministering to our local in-need clients,
please contact Dawn Groneck at 859-750-8626 or Jimmy Dale Roy at 859-655-5433.
