PSR (Parish School of Religion)

Saint Thomas Parish offers a Parish School of Religion (PSR) for children in grades PreK-8 who do not have Catholic religious education classes in their schools. The program intends to help parents as they hand on the faith to their children.

PSR also incorporates elements of preparation for First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. First Reconciliation and First Communion Class are typically associated with our second-grade classes. Confirmation Class is typically associated with our seventh and eighth-grade classes. They are parish celebrations and will involve some activities outside of the normal PSR schedule for both PSR and Saint Thomas School.

Wednesday Classes are in the evening from 6:30- 7:30 p.m. Sep 4-May 7 except when Fort Thomas Independent Schools are not in session.

We will be offering Sunday morning classes for our sacramental prep years (2nd and 8th grade) starting with the 9 AM Mass and ending by 11:15 AM.

We are in need of more PSR aides for all grades and times. Aides can be adults or high schoolers. Not necessary that you are available every week. Please let us know if you can volunteer your time to assist in our ministry.
